Hi, I'm Emily, the photographer behind Scarlet Oak Photography.

I'm a family, newborn, and maternity photographer serving Cumming, Alpharetta, Milton, and the surrounding North Georgia area. As a mom myself, I know how quickly the seasons of family life pass and how stressful it can feel to be the one responsible for remembering them.

My goal is to create beautiful images while making the experience easy for you. From helping with outfits to guiding you through the session, I take care of the details so you don't have to worry about what to do with your hands, whether your toddler will cooperate, or if everything is perfectly posed.

The best photos usually happen in the in-between moments anyway such as the snuggles, the laughter, the way your child reaches for you without thinking. Those are the memories worth keeping.
