Perry Funeral Chapel

Perry Funeral Chapel is one of the longest standing family owned and operated businesses in Ashburn and Turner County. Services have been provided locally since 1888, when W.A. Murray would unload caskets from the train that ran through town and sell them out of his hardware store. Over the years decendants of Mr. Murray helped celebrate the lives of family members and worked tirelessly serving the great folks of Turner County and surrounding areas. First the Murrays and then the  Harden and Perry families created a legacy of love and kindness to all who came through the doors of the funeral home for many years. In 2022, David and Suzi Mathis, a young couple raised in the area, acquired the funeral home and have continued this tradition of serving families and the community.
