I create functional and decorative ceramic pieces.  My work is a reflection of the places, the people, and the experiences that have made my story and home.  Whether it's a platter with the flower that bloomed by my aunt’s kitchen window, a vase impressed with a lace pattern belonging to my great grandmother, or serving pieces in accent colors inspired by dishes from family dinners growing up, my work depicts small, still frames of each of these experiences that have shaped my story.  My process began by creating handmade wall tiles depicting patterns and shapes of places I’d traveled, and it has evolved into a combination of many different processes to create functional and decorative ceramic pieces.  I also offer ceramic classes and workshops throughout the year.
