About me,

Well, I grew up in a single parent home as the only child. My mother and I moved to Georgia in 1990 from Annapolis, Maryland. I can remember til this day as a child having to sleep in the car when we first arrived here with no where to go. My mother and I had to stayed at a shelter which is called Must Ministries in Marietta,GA. From there they helped my mother with housing and the ability to find work. During that time we found an amazing place for me to go, meet friends, and a second home which is called Anderson Boys and Girls Club in Marietta. Throughout my years there it would be a safe place to go and giving the ability to travel the world and introducing me to a sport called Team Handball. Playing Team Handball allowed me to represent this country by playing on the Jr. National and National Team. I traveled all across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Sweden from 97 to 06. But, like most young teens I found myself trying to grow up faster than I should have and became a father at the age of 15 with my first child. I ended up dropping out of high school a couple years later. I went back in my mid 20's to get my GED and years later earned an Information Technology degree from South University in Savannah, Ga in my 30's. While in college I made the Presidents list twice and graduated with over a 3.0 GPA. I set out to accomplish a goal that my mother wanted from me as a child and for my kids to look at all that I've been through in life and not give up. Now, as for the business side of things. I knew that I wanted to create my own freedom from working for others. I had no idea that I would be in the tire business but in 2008 I met brother Q at tire shop while needing service. No, we're not blood brothers but you can't tell us that. I saw how hard he worked for someone else over the years and never felt appreciated. I told him one day I'm going to get us a shop. Over the years he remained loyal to me and I wanted to repay the same loyalty and promise that I made to him. So, that is how D10 Tires became about. When we started this I had a huge vision on how I saw the business from a customer side of things taking that I brought used tires in the past. As a business owner my mission is to make sure when you purchase tires from D10 Tires that you are buying quality for your hard earned dollar rather it's New or Used. I want you to feel great about your purchase. This is why at D10 Tires if you have an issue with the tire itself after purchase we take care of it at no cost to you. We will never sell you something that you don't need. Whene you come and say you need two tires but you only need one than we are going to sell you one. The customers appreciate that kind of honesty. We also educate customers on tires so they know what to look for when buying a tire even if it's not from us. The mission for me is to grow the business and be able to employee as many as we can at D10 Tires. I want to postion others to take care of their families as me and my brother do the same. My goal as a business owner is to retire my hero who happens to be my mother and establish something for my kids. Speaking of kids our mission is to save as many as we can through upcoming projects. We are more than a tire shop we are the face of the community. I tell people all the time. You may come as a customer but you leave as family. I can go on and on but I'm going to end on this final note. 

Never stop dreaming, Never give up, find ways and people to help you achieve your goals. Sometimes your investment isn't in yourself but in someone else. You create the life you want for self and help your kids create the life that they want.
