Kristy Mazeika is the owner of Tan Athens + Wellness in Athens, Georgia, and Oconee Tan + Wellness in Oconee County. As a local entrepreneur with a passion for health, beauty, and community, Kristy has spent the past several years transforming the traditional tanning salon experience into a modern wellness destination.

What began as a vision to provide safe, professional tanning services has grown into two award-winning businesses offering UV tanning, custom and automated spray tanning, red light therapy, infrared sauna sessions, and wellness-focused services designed to help clients look and feel their best.

Tan Athens + Wellness has been recognized as Athens' Best Tanning Salon for eight consecutive years, a reflection of Kristy's commitment to exceptional customer service, innovative technology, and creating an inviting atmosphere for every guest. Both locations are built around the belief that confidence starts with self-care.

Beyond her businesses, Kristy is deeply involved in supporting the local community through school sponsorships, nonprofit partnerships, youth athletics, and local events. When she's not at one of her salons, Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband of 13 years and their two children. She is also dedicated to personal fitness and wellness, bringing the same energy and passion for healthy living into both her personal life and her businesses.
