About
This is Evelyn Shaw Corley, and let me tell you why my heart beats for Thrive International Academy.
For the past 19 years, I've walked the halls of education, witnessing the magic (and sometimes the struggles) of learning from elementary through high school. I've taught special education, general education, and even gifted students. While I loved much of the traditional path, a burning desire grew in me: to reach those who needed something different, something more.
The students who needed that extra lift, the kind hand of remediation and the comfort of knowing they weren't alone. The students who craved a challenge, who buzzed with untapped potential yearning for acceleration.
That's why, in 2019, I left the public school system and took a leap of faith. With passion overflowing and a clear purpose fueling me, I created Thrive International Academy. And let me tell you, it's been an incredible journey!
We started small, shouting our mission loud and proud on Facebook: to serve students worldwide. Today, through sheer perseverance and unwavering purpose, Thrive has blossomed into a vibrant community of top-notch, compassionate educators offering 1:1 live teaching and tutoring.
Here at Thrive, we meet you where you are as a learner. Our dedicated tutors and teachers guide you with unwavering support, helping you reach your absolute highest potential. Whether you need:
Tutoring: We cover everything from Kindergarten to College, all subjects, yes, ALL of them, even to the elite AP and IB levels! No student is left behind. We also serve pre-readers, offering gentle remediation and setting them on the path to success.
Homeschooling: Thrive can be your complete learning partner. We will guide you every step of the way, helping your child graduate high school and confidently enter college or the workforce. We craft custom plans to fit your family's unique needs.
