Hello! We are Basem & Kat Ahmed, founders of Munch Hut Deli & Store. Our store is in a prime location, right across from the UGA Arch (a historic symbol of Athens and located at the entrance to the University of Georgia). Basem, also known as "Felix", ran a successful business in Athens for 11 years, so this area is very near and dear to us.

We have opened Munch Hut Deli & Store to boost the local economy and bring a new culinary experience to Athens. Our menu is filled with all the comfort food favorites -- Phillies, Burgers, Fries, Mozz Sticks, Meatball Subs, Bowls, Salads, Homemade Spicy Sauce, and soooo much more. Our store is open late (3:30am/4am) to make sure that not only the students can get their grub on, but also our fellow local businesses, officers, and all the other industry professionals in the areas working late. We offer discounts for officers and industry professionals to show our gratitude for all they do. You can order online, pick up in person, get delivery, or place an order for a later date.

In addition to our daily menu, we also offer catering with unique and upscale food options. Our catering menu includes 8 cuisines/styles: Italian, Mediterranean, American/American Southern, Middle Eastern, Cold Cuts, Chinese, Indian, and West Indian. Our dishes make for a diverse culinary experience tailored specifically to our clients. We are huge advocates of education and are also partnering with UGA for catering their events and on opportunities for students to gain real-life work experience and professional development.
