L.E.A.D. Center For Youth

L.E.A.D. Center For Youth is a 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to advance equity and well-being through sports-based youth development. Youth sports done right is a valuable building block to stronger, safer communities. Through baseball and tennis, we teach our youth in Atlanta how to overcome three curveballs that threaten their success: crime, poverty and racism. We serve over 350 youth through 12 school partnership in Atlanta Public Schools. Through year round sports-based mentoring programs we provide access to quality sports experience where our youth can engage with trained, full time coach-mentors who create environments that promote peer bonds, challenge growth and share power with youth. For youth who complete our programming, 100% graduate from high school and 90% are accepted into college with various forms of scholarships (academic, athletic, need-based). Building on our core values of excellence, humility, integrity, loyalty, stewardship and teamwork, we're developing our youth to win at the game of life.
