When was the last time you felt truly connected to yourself?
Many of us may not know how to answer that question.
Breathwork, specifically, Conscious Connected Breathing, a 3 part breathing pattern that has helped me come back to myself, and allowed me to guide countless others as they reconnect to their intuition.
How does it work?
You hold unprocessed trauma in your body - a claim supported by science (a great book to check out is The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van den Kolk M.D.) Somatic practices, such as breathwork, can help you process and release emotional blocks caused by trauma that are keeping you trapped in bouts of anxiety, stress, depression, panic, grief, and more. As you move through a spectrum of physical, emotional, and mental sensations, many leave sessions feeling lighter, euphoric, relieved, and on a natural "high." Other benefits include improved sleep, digestion, and lung capacity.
I am a certified breathwork facilitator and wellness coach offering group sessions and privates. Sessions begin with an explanation of the process, time for questions, and - for 1:1s - an exploration of what you'd like to focus on during our time together. We conclude with time for journaling and discussion. Sessions can last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes.
