About

Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace is a Georgia based privately funded organization that has been  enrolling and re-enrolling Georgia residents in Affordable Care Act Marketplace Plans since 2013. It's what we do and it's all we do (24/7/365), and our  service is absolutely free to residents of all 159 Georgia counties.

Our secure website is www.georgiahealthinsurancemarketplace.com and if you may either enroll online in the privacy of your own home or you may contact us directly at either 404-975-3313 or  toll free at 800-976-1401.

We are not beholding to any particular health insurance company in any way. We are able to enroll or re-enroll Georgia residents in all plans available on the Georgia Exchange, including Alliant, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ambetter, CareSource, Kaiser and Oscar.

Monthly financial assistance (paid directly to the private insurance company on your behalf) is available to residents based on  "Tax Family Size" (not the number of family members insured)

Monthly federal financial assistance (also called an APTC or Advance Premium Tax Credit) is available to all Georgia residents within the the following annual household incomes. Once again, this is not based on the number of family members to be insured but instead it is based on the number of family members on the tax return (including spouses and ANY other "tax family" dependents (including but not limited to dependents under19 and dependents ages 19-26.

Tax Family Size.......... (100%-400% of the Federal Poverty Level)

Family of 1 ................ ($12,760 - $51,040)

Family of 2................. ($17,240 - $68,960)

Family of 3................. ($21,720 - $86,880)

Family of 4.................($26,200 - $104,800)

Family of 5................ ($30,680 - $122,720)

Family of 6...............($35,160 -  $$140,640)

Contrary to popular belief, Affordable Care Act Marketplace Plans are NOT just for those Georgia residents  below the federal poverty level. In fact, Georgia families BELOW the federal poverty level (for their family size) are NOT able to qualify for a Marketplace Plan in Georgia. Tentatively, this will change however in 2023.

Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace is here to help ALL Georgia Residents, including those who may ALREADY have an Affordable Care Act Marketplace Plan. Often times, Georgia residents who try to enroll or re-enroll on their own OR Georgia residents who call one of the federal call centers with part-time unlicensed subcontractors... end up paying too much.

At literally any time of the year, Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace can access your federal marketplace application (only after your permission of course), and quite possibly lower your payment on the exact same marketplace plan you currently have. You'll see the difference in your next bill from your insurance company.

Enrolling and re-enrolling Georgia residents in Affordable care Act Marketplace Plans is what we do and it's all we do. Fell free to call us almost anytime at either 404-975-3313 (Atlanta office) or toll free at 800-976-1401. Over the past 8 years, Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace has become Georgia's recognised enrollment authority for Federally Facilitated Marketplace Plans.
