ServeScape is a business committed to serving the local Atlanta and Athens communities by utilizing local designers, sourcing local plants, and promoting local contractors.  Founded three years ago, ServeScape has been providing Atlanta and Athens residents with landscape designs, plant material delivered to their home and installation when needed.  

The ServeScape founder, Mario Cambardella, served as the former Urban Agriculture Director for the city of Atlanta.  As urban agriculture director Mario led the "AgLanta," initiative. AgLanta is a comprehensive and systematic approach toward strengthening the local food system. Developed programs include the country’s largest municipal food forest, "Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill" and the "AgLanta Grows-A-Lot" program that converts vacant properties in USDA-defined food desert areas into food-producing spaces, and the hyperlocal food promotion program, “AgLanta Grown.”

With ServeScape, Mario intends to revolutionize the horticultural industry by bringing technology to its operations.  The first step in this challenge is to provide a digital marketplace for consumers looking for landscape design and plant material.  ServeScape leverages the expertise of the company’s network of Georgia Grown horticultural farmers and the efficiency of a seamless digital platform to deliver a wider, more curated selection of plants. ServeScape partners with responsible, green industry growers across Georgia to provide metro Atlanta and Athens residents with direct access to handpicked, regionally appropriate collections of plants.

Due to consumer demand, ServeScape continues to grow their Landscape Design marketplace of highly qualified Landscape Designers and Architects.  The designers will do a virtual or onsite consultation, plant list, landscape plan or custom outdoor living package, and together with the ServeScape team, will walk the homeowner through the entire design and install process.
