We have a passion for transplant patients and their caregivers, due to the loss of our son, Jeffrey, who did not get a heart transplant in order to save his life.  

We provide, at little or no cost, fully furnished, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, first floor apartments for the use of transplant families, either while waiting for a donor, or while recovering from surgery.  The apartments are conveniently located 2.5 miles from Emory & CHOA and 5 miles from Piedmont.  We operate at about 95% capacity, which shows the need for what we are doing.

Our patients have had transplants of hearts, lungs, liver and kidneys, as well as stem cells and bone marrow.  They have ranged in age from 2 months to 74 years old.  We welcome all people to our apartments.
