Ascending Intentionally-Death Doula Services

My death doula practice provides compassionate, non-medical support for individuals and families navigating the end of life. 

I work alongside people during their hospice journey and beyond, offering emotional, practical, and educational support that complements traditional care. This often includes helping families understand what to expect as death approaches, guiding important conversations, assisting with planning, and offering steady presence when things feel uncertain.

I believe education is a form of comfort. When people understand what is happening, fear softens—and they are better able to show up with presence, love, and clarity for themselves and one another.

In a culture that often avoids conversations about death, my work creates space for honesty, preparation, and meaning. I help bring language to what can feel overwhelming or unknown, so families don’t have to navigate it alone or unprepared.

Whether I’m sitting vigil, supporting legacy and memory-making, or helping loved ones through the days and weeks after a loss, I offer grounded presence and clear guidance through an experience that is deeply human, but rarely supported well.

At its core, my work is about connection, dignity, and truth.

You don’t need someone to take over the experience—you need someone who can walk beside you through it with steadiness, honesty, and care. That is what I do.
