Rescue Pals

We are a state licensed, non-profit, foster-based animal rescue in Northeast Georgia. With the ongoing crisis of overcrowding at county shelters, which leads to euthanasia for countless sweet, loving dogs and cats "for space", we are committed to saving the ones we can. 

We get them into foster homes where they receive all the care they need, (nutrition, vet care, training as needed) and time to decompress after the trauma of living in the shelter, and to learn or relearn what it's like to be part of a family. 

The next step is to find them the right home through screening of adoption applicants to make the best match for each pet and each family. Then it's Happy Tails time!

We are completely reliant on the generosity of the public through donations, and all contributions are tax deductible.
