About Us

Blue Ribbon CHEROKEE is a locally run men's health initiative with a single, vital mission: raising awareness for prostate cancer and advocating for early screening. While we are an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we operate on an uncommon model. Other than a modest administrative budget, our financial need is dedicated entirely to public awareness events and educational initiatives. Because that need is generously funded by key partners who share our mission, we never solicit donations from the public or the individuals we serve. Through active community events and grassroots partnerships, we have achieved phenomenal success reaching men across Cherokee County, ensuring that no man in our community will ever have to say, I didn’t know screening could save my life.”
