Puerta de Oro Taqueria & Cantina

Growing up, Mexican food was always a part of Uriel Avecilla’s daily life. Whether it was at his own house, his family’s house, or a taco stand in Mexico, he saw how good food could bring people together and dreamed of owning his own restaurant. 20 years ago, Uriel started working in the Mexican cuisine industry. After many years of hard work and despite the difficulties of life during the pandemic, he took a risk and was able to launch his own taqueria and cantina—Puerta de Oro. He is now excited to begin this new chapter and introduce you to his passion for traditional Mexican food.
