Marcy Heath, Founder and CEO of Inoventive Benefits Consulting, is a nationally recognized leader in the healthcare space with over 28 years of experience in advising employers with innovative benefit strategies. She is a cost-cutting expert who is proactive in the pursuit of changing how employers manage their healthcare supply chain while improving employee benefits and increasing bottom line profits for employers.

Always having a passion for collaborating with employers and employee benefits, Marcy started Inoventive Benefits Consulting in 2015, and has not looked back since. Armed with an in-depth understanding of healthcare finance, she is on a mission to alter the way businesses manage their healthcare supply chains, while also boosting employee benefits and increasing bottom-line earnings. Her role is to help employers manage and mitigate risks within the healthcare supply chain. As of this writing, Inoventive Benefits Consulting has experienced astounding success. Most notably, Inoventive Benefits Consulting has returned half a million surplus dollars to employers from their claim fund. Viewed as an integral part of the team, Inoventive Benefits Consulting is a valued partner who is always at the negotiating table with group clients.

In addition to leading Inoventive Benefits Consulting, Marcy has co-authored a book with several of her peers, entitled Next Generation Healthcare, which helps employers reclaim control of their benefits spend, and create true value chains that deliver quality, affordable healthcare for their employees. She is also in the process of co-authoring a second book due to hit the market soon.

Mrs. Heath has been recognized by many organizations during her career and has won several awards including the National Association of Healthcare Underwriters (NAHU) Circle of Excellence Soaring Eagle award, the NextGen Agency Growth award, and the Employee Benefits Advisor’s (EBA) Top Women in Benefits Advising award. She is a member of the NextGen Benefits Mastermind Partnership – an elite national network of strategic, forward thinking business consultants and advisors. She currently serves on the Haralson/Polk CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Board of Directors and chairs the Sewell Mill Sponsor Board (a local community foundation). She is a past Rotarian and former member of the Haralson County Chamber Board of Directors. 

Marcy has a love for giving back to her community. Annually, she funds scholarships for local high school graduating seniors while offering internship opportunities to help students expand their resumes. She also supports the My Turn Sports League (for special needs children), Haralson County Toys for Tots and local coat and food drives during the holiday season. 

Marcy’s definition of success is measured by the difference she makes in the lives of others, especially her clients. She chooses to live a life of value rather than stature and genuinely believes if you take care of others, they will take care of you and this concept has served her well in business.
