About

Dr. Whitney Kleinert is the owner and clinician at Appalachian Psychological and Behavioral Services (APBS) and the Executive Director of the North Georgia Autism Foundation (www.ngafinc.org). She has proudly provided trainings about Autism (including in girls, women, and high-masking individuals), school supports, and behavior across the country.

Dr. Kleinert has expertise in working with neurodiverse - including Autistic - individuals and their families. She is a neuro-affirming provider and works with people who mask. She also supports school districts, students, and their families with navigating challenging behavior. She has extensive experience in conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations with individuals across the lifespan.

Dr. Kleinert established APBS in 2021 in response to the need for affordable psychological evaluations in the North-of-Atlanta communities. Within a year, APBS grew to also offer therapy, parent consultation, and school consultation services.
