Wade Works Studios

Wade Works Studios started in 1998 as a drawing of what I envisioned the studio to look like. But because I had a background in music, I dedicated my time and energy into becoming a successful hip hop artist. Having gained local and regional success, I still felt the tugging of opening up a production studio. Not knowing how or where to start, my journey and career eventually led me to relocate from Washington, DC to Atlanta, GA in 2004. Now, I had always been told that I have a voice for radio. From friends to family, I was reminded of doing radio in some way. Ironically, my very first job, was a summer job in radio back when I was in the 7^th grade, so I guess my path was already set. Within a year of me arriving to Atlanta, I landed a part-time job in radio, which eventually led to me launching my radio show, G-Wade Radio Show. The show aired on radio from 2006 to 2011. I left the radio station to start working on film production for the next three years. In late 2014, I started to get the urge again to open up a production studio – so in March of 2015, Wade Works Studios had its grand opening in College Park, GA – which also was the relaunch of the G-Wade Radio Show. Five years later, the radio show is still going strong. Wade Works Studios has expanded twice since its opening and we currently have six recording studios to record radio, podcast, voice-over, and TV shows. Our client-base has grown exponentially and plans to purchase our own facility is now in the works. What started out as a drawing on a piece of paper in 1998, has now transformed itself into a brick & mortar reality.
