JoAnn Smith Dean is known for being a trustworthy, thoughtful leader with a calm demeanor, who privately helps professional women grow in areas they didn’t anticipate, recapturing their power and decoding programming that no longer serves them. 

JoAnn is the Director of Inspired By JoAnn, LLC, a community she created for professional women to feel safe as they practice self-care, tell their stories and build legacies they love. 

She is 10 x time self-published author, a Southern University of New Orleans graduate where she obtained both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work. She’s also an alumni of DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative  and Life Purpose Institute where she received her Life Coaching Certification. JoAnn was featured in VoyageATL Magazine in December 2018 and is a guest writer for DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative.
