Bright Future For Kids Tutoring Center

Bright Future for Kids, Inc. (BFFK),  a nonprofit tutoring learning center,  began as a response to the academic deficiencies observed among students in area schools.  BFFK opened its doors with five middle school students in August 2014. Our program now serves students in grades K - 12 from five neighboring counties. This is due to the tailored instruction model provided to our students. We have seen significant success among the 150+ students we've worked with in the past five years. On an average, 90% of our students show significant improvement in their academic performance within eight consecutive tutoring sessions. We credit our success to a belief that all students can learn, a caring and dedicated staff, effective strategies and parent support.  Students are also motivated and challenged to take ownership of their learning which encourages individual success.  BFFK continues to grow each year through word of mouth.

I, Dr. Widza Charles Robinson,  the founder and CEO of BFFK,  have over thirty years of experience in education and believe that education is the most important tool in society. I have worked with students of all grade levels in various capacities. My goal is to help each student thrive by equipping them with the skills needed so they may soar in life.  I am certified  in most academic subjects and am also ESOL and gifted endorsed, I've worked in New York City Schools, Dekalb County and Rockdale Schools.  I retired from Rockdale county Schools in 2018.
