Rita West Photography is a North Georgia photography business dedicated to capturing the moments that tell your story — the laughter, connection, emotion, and little in-between moments you never want to forget.

As both a photographer and a mom, I know how quickly life changes. My approach to photography is relaxed, personal, and focused on creating images that feel genuine. While I’ll always make sure we capture the beautiful portraits everyone wants, some of my favorite photographs are the ones that happen naturally — a child’s belly laugh, a quiet glance between two people, or the beautiful chaos of a family simply being themselves.

I specialize in families, children, maternity, newborns, couples, seniors, weddings, and special events, with a style that blends timeless portraiture with candid, documentary-inspired storytelling.

For me, photography is about more than creating beautiful images. It’s about preserving a season of your life exactly as it felt, so years from now you can look back and remember not only what everyone looked like, but who you were in that moment.
