Sujata Gill

Sujata Gill, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in Robotic, Bariatric, and Reflux surgery. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Gill earned her medical degree from the State University of New York before completing her General Surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She went on to complete a specialized fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, focusing on robotic techniques, weight-loss surgery, and complex reflux procedures.

Since 2015, Dr. Gill has been proudly serving patients in the North Georgia region. Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, she is deeply committed to improving outcomes and enhancing the surgical experience for every patient—from the first consultation through recovery. She also takes a proactive role in preventive health for both men and women, aiming to help patients live healthier, longer lives.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gill is a leader in healthcare education and surgical innovation. She collaborates closely with fellow physicians to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care and values strong partnerships across specialties.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Gill enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, their three children, and two beloved dogs.
