About
The American Business Women's Association (ABWA) Douglas County Charter Chapter, is a dynamic network of professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and business owners committed to empowering women through leadership, education, networking, and personal growth.
Since our founding, we have created a welcoming environment where women can build meaningful relationships, develop professionally, and gain access to resources that help them succeed in business and in life. Through monthly professional development programs, networking events, mentorship opportunities, community service initiatives, and leadership development, we strive to help our members achieve their full potential.
Our chapter proudly serves Douglas County and the surrounding communities by connecting women from diverse industries and backgrounds who share a common goal of growth, collaboration, and service. We believe that when women support one another, entire communities benefit.
As part of a national organization with a rich history of developing women leaders, the Douglas County Charter Chapter is dedicated to creating opportunities that inspire confidence, foster lifelong learning, and encourage members to lead with purpose.
With more than 40 active members and growing, the chapter continues to expand its impact through educational workshops, business networking events, scholarship initiatives, and partnerships with local organizations. Our mission is simple: provide opportunities for women to connect, learn, lead, and thrive.
Together, we are building stronger businesses, stronger leaders, and a stronger community...one connection at a time.
