At Amy’s Dance, we strive to create a place where dancers feel loved, supported, and confident while building lifelong friendships and memories that extend far beyond the dance floor.

For me, dance has always been more than movement—it has been a lifelong passion and calling. My journey began at just six years old and eventually led me to open my own studio at the age of 17. As a young dancer, I was blessed with opportunities to learn from world-class professional dancers and organizations, including Loree Ruseau, Jerry Rose, Dance Theatre USA, Dance Makers, and many more. Those experiences helped shape not only my artistic vision, but also the kind of teacher and studio owner I wanted to become.

Now, after 37 years of ownership and experience, my mission has grown far beyond simply teaching choreography. Over the decades, I have had the privilege of traveling to countless competitions, conventions, and workshops alongside my students, but some of my greatest accomplishments cannot be measured by trophies or awards. They are found in the confidence built in a once-shy dancer, the friendships formed in the studio, the lessons learned through hard work and perseverance, and the former students who return years later with children of their own.

Even after all these years, I am not in the studio because it is simply my job. It is my passion, my purpose, and my family. I believe every dancer who walks through our doors deserves to feel valued, encouraged, and challenged to become the best version of themselves—not only as a dancer, but as a person.

The staff at Amy's School of Dance strives to inspire joy and personal fulfillment through the art of dance, providing a supportive community where every dancer can confidently leave everything on the floor, discover who they truly are, and tell their own unique story through movement and expression."

I am incredibly grateful for the generations of families who have trusted us, supported us, and become part of our studio family, and I look forward to continuing to share that passion for many years to come.
