Barbara Ann Byrd, a native of Gary, Indiana and mother of two young adults, currently residing in the Metro Atlanta area is the President of D & D Catering and Events, Llc a premier catering and event planning company.  Founder and Executive Director of H.E.R. Purpose INC a non-profit organization designed to help women heal, be empowered and restored to  live their life on purpose through mentorship, resources, collaborations and so much mor Ms. Byrd is also the owner of several other businesses  now headquartered in the Atlanta Metro area.

 Featured on many radio broadcasts and multiple publications as well as a 4X Nominated Business for ATL's Hottest Chef/Caterer she is a force that knows no end. Working with many organizations nationwide from charitable to corporations including multiple well-known celebrities. While creating her empire, Ms. Byrd long understood that it was better to be of service to many, allowed her pain to create her purpose and the rest would be easier. Although, priding herself on being the best she can be while making a substantial impact in her community.

Ms. Byrd was awarded the House Resolution 1546 by the Georgia House of Representatives for her commitment to the community, and her significant organizational and leadership talents. Ms. Byrd will be launching her own seasoning line (Winter 2022). She also has cookbook with the same name as her  Byrd Brain Academy, an 8-week course designed to help individuals take their business to the next level with support or start a business based on the skills of the student.

Ms. Byrd also as a Certified Life Coach has managed to gain much success in her short 53 years of life. With her strength, wisdom and faith, she knows she can conquer ANYTHING that comes her way. Chef Byrd looks forward to the future and creating more opportunities that will allow women to recognize they can accomplish many things in life, no matter what they have been through if they just BELIEVE  in themselves.
