Alpine Helen, Georgia celebrates Life with culture, food, and deserts.  Das Ice Cream Café follows that tradition by creating something special and putting a bit of fun back in your life.  We opened Das Ice Cream Café where we create delicious freshly churned homemade ice cream and desserts with a German flair.  We pride ourselves in using premium ingredients in all our small batch ice creams, so it's done right. 

When you were a kid, you couldn’t have enough sugar, could you? Ice cream FOR everything and ice cream WITH everything.  Then you grew up.  Unfortunately, that’s what happens to everyone.  You start going to work earlier.  You stop going out as much.  You stop making memories and sometimes, you stop having fun.

Why?

Well, you “grew up”. You’re a responsible adult now. You “follow the rules”.  We are here to help bring back that inner child by bringing you something that will remind you of those times!  Back when you didn’t have a care in the world.  Somewhere, somehow, you were told that just because you grew up, you couldn’t have fun. We completely disagree and our products show it. We decided to break the rules and switch things up.  There's something about mixing the innocence of a childhood favorite with the indulgence of adulthood that's eminently satisfying.

Das Ice Cream Café has those traditional flavors you loved as a child but it's time to break the rules. You can try our non-traditional and unapologetic creations made with the best brands of alcohol and the freshest, richest and creamiest ingredients, specially prepared to give you an adult treat that you’ll want to talk about with all of your friends.
