Greater Wealth Works

Founded in 1998, Greater Wealth Works (formerly known as the Edge Connection, Inc.) has provided technical assistance, business counseling, and training for over 8,000 people. The original mission and purpose of the organization was to alleviate poverty in Cobb County and to offer low to moderate-income residents of the county a proven path to increase their income and financial security. Through micro-business training, the partnership saw a way to help the unemployed and underemployed launch businesses to create jobs for themselves and others.  The organization's Women's Business Center was launched in 2004. Of the people served since incorporation, 4,313 individuals pursued starting businesses. 74% of them were women. To date, more than 1,200 women have launched businesses with our support.

At Greater Wealth Works, our mission is to give clients the opportunity to create a financially sustainable life for themselves and their families through financial literacy, business ownership, career pathway investment, and leadership development.  Through specialized training courses, one-on-one consultations, group coaching, access to financial resources, and client-exclusive benefits, we equip Greater Wealth Works clients with the life skills needed for personal and professional well-being.
