About

Founded in 1997, the Town Center Community Improvement District (CID) was created to help guide the growth of one of metro Atlanta's most dynamic business centers. For nearly three decades, the CID has invested in regional planning, transportation improvements, and infrastructure projects that strengthen the local economy and enhance everyday life. Through strategic partnerships and data-driven decision-making, the CID works to reduce traffic congestion, improve connectivity, increase commercial property values, and create clean, vibrant, safe places where businesses and people can thrive.

The Town Center CID is a self-taxing district funded by commercial property owners and governed by an eight-member board of directors and expert staff. By leveraging local investments with state, federal, and private funding, the CID delivers projects that might not otherwise be possible. Together with the Town Center Community Alliance, the organization's nonprofit partner, the CID also supports placemaking, community programming, and initiatives that foster connection and enhance quality of life. From transportation infrastructure and trails to public spaces and community enhancements, Town Center Community is committed to shaping a more connected, prosperous, and resilient future for generations to come.
