JimPa's Catering

JimPa's Catering developed out of over 30 years of serving diners in and around Smyrna and Kennesaw, first as Uncle Bud's then as Catfish Jim's. In 2011, we shifted our focus to catering and JimPa's was established. Our loyal customers were not thrilled that we closed the restaurant, so we reopened a small take-out location in Kennesaw. In 2015, founder, Jim "JimPa" Schrampfer, passed away from cancer. His wife and son took up the helm and continued the legacy he created. In 2019, we moved from our little take-out location to the old Huddle House location on the corner of McCollum Parkway and Cobb Parkway. Several months after opening the new, bigger location...Covid hit. While it has not been easy, we have weathered the storm and have big plans for the future. 

Our specialty is catfish and fried chicken, but also offer shrimp, chicken tenders, country fried steak and more. We hand-bread and cook your meal to order. This allows for the best tasting, freshest food possible. We also make our cole slaw, onion rings, fried pickles, hushpuppies and our sauces from scratch.  

JimPa's offers full dine-in, take-out, and delivery options, in addition to our catering services. Have a small gathering, but need a lot of food? We can cook up fresh orders and pan them out for pick-up or delivery. Have a group of 50 or more? We will bring our catering truck and cook your food fresh at your location. We do corporate events, topping out parties, weddings, birthdays, reunions, you name it. We put the WOW Effect in catering!
