Attorney Mel is a former  police officer turned criminal defense attorney. She is the managing attorney/owner of LaGrone Law, an Immigration and Criminal Defense firm in Lawrenceville, GA. Part of Attorney Mel's focus is to keep our young black males out of the criminal system and home with their families.  

Attorney Mel handles all criminal cases from misdemeanors to felonies, and she has obtained positive results for her clients through dismissals, acquittals, and the negotiation of favorable plea agreements with the prosecution. In addition, she keeps her non us citizen clients from being deported and helps them gain their citizenship to the United States.
