Dr. Alisha Rorer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Marrietta, GA with over a decade of clinical and research experience related to underrepresented families, racial identity, sexual trauma, integrated behavioral healthcare, infidelity recovery, and Black fatherhood. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles and has over a decade of experience presenting at local, national, and international conferences on topics related to couples and families.

She is the owner of Rorer Psychotherapy & Consulting Services where she provides individual, couple, family, and group therapy as well as consultation services to psychotherapists, students, community organizations, and helping professionals.

Dr. Rorer works with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and life stressors; couples who are struggling with emotional connection, intimacy, and infidelity recovery; families struggling with communication and parent-child conflict; and she has a special interest in Black fatherhood, sexual trauma, and couples.

As a consultant, she offers interactive workshops, seminars, research projects, and speaking engagements for topics related to mental health, pre-marital relationships, parenting, fatherhood, and self-care. In addition, she is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, professor, researcher, and the interim behavioral health director of a faith-based medical clinic.
