About

WMNZ 1050 AM & Buck Creek Music

Music, Radio & Entertainment — Built on a Passion for People and the Community

For more than two decades, Buck Creek Music has been built around one simple passion: music and bringing people together.

Our journey began in 2004 with DJ and entertainment services, providing music and entertainment for weddings, parties, community events, celebrations, and special occasions throughout Middle and South Georgia. Over the years, that passion for music evolved into something even bigger — a commitment to keeping the tradition of great local radio alive.

In 2022, Buck Creek Music took the next step by becoming the owner of WMNZ 1050 AM in Montezuma, Georgia. WMNZ has been a part of the community since 1961, and we are proud to continue that legacy while bringing new energy and ideas to the station.

Today, WMNZ 1050 AM is more than a radio station. It’s a community voice. From local news, sports, and community events to specialty music programs, faith-based programming, classic music, and personality-driven shows, WMNZ strives to provide something for everyone. Our programming puts an emphasis on real people, real voices, local stories, and the music that creates memories.

Buck Creek Music and WMNZ share the same philosophy: entertain, connect, and serve the community. Whether we’re behind the microphone, providing DJ entertainment at an event, broadcasting a Friday-night football game, promoting a local business, or simply playing a song that brings back an old memory, we’re here because we believe music and radio still matter.

From DJ services beginning in 2004 to radio ownership beginning in 2022, this has been a journey built on music, community, and a genuine love for what we do.

Buck Creek Music & WMNZ 1050 AM — keeping the music playing, keeping the community connected, and keeping hometown radio alive.
