I've spent more than 30 years inside other people's books. As a forensic bookkeeper, I'm the person a business owner calls after the money is already gone — after the trusted employee, the missing deposits, the year of receipts nobody reconciled. I hate finding fraud. I find it more every year.

Almost none of it starts with a criminal. It starts with someone who was never taught to read a bank statement.

That's why I built Ledger & Learn.

Ledger & Learn is a financial literacy curriculum spanning kindergarten through age 25, built across five programs: Money Seeds, Money Grows, Money Ready, Money Strong, and Money Launched. It isn't theory. Every lesson comes out of a real ledger — the same patterns I document in forensic engagements, translated into language a seven-year-old or a nineteen-year-old can actually use.

My own path shaped it. I came to Georgia from Canada at 26 with no college degree, spent 28 years at IHG Hotels rising from fitness club attendant to Director of Global Technology in Finance overseeing a roughly $300 million budget, then founded CanAm Bookkeeping in 2020, where I now serve more than 100 clients. Every step was earned by proving I could do the work. I built Ledger & Learn so the next person doesn't have to learn it the hard way, in their thirties, with real money on the line.

The capstone program, Money Launched, runs 13 weeks for ages 18–25 with a 99-page workbook, current-year tax figures, and three learner paths for college, trade school, or straight into work. Courses are $99 each, or $349 for the complete K–25 pathway, backed by a 90-day Family Fit Guarantee.
