Royal Cinemas 14 Dolby Atmos PLF & Worlds Tallest IMAX

Royal Cinemas has been a beacon of entertainment since it opened its doors with ten screens in January 2011. Just a year and eight months later, in September 2012, we expanded to include an IMAX screen and two additional auditoriums, bringing our total to 13. Alongside our state-of-the-art theaters, we also introduced a bar and a restaurant, enhancing the overall movie-going experience.

In 2017, we transformed the comfort of movie-watching by introducing recliners in all our auditoriums, providing our guests with the ultimate in relaxation and luxury. That same year, we launched a trial of $5 movie tickets on Tuesdays to attract more weekday moviegoers. This initiative was such a hit that we made it a permanent feature, offering affordable entertainment to our community.

In May 2022, we reached a new milestone by building and adding the tallest IMAX screen in the world, increasing our total to 14 screens. Continuing our commitment to innovation, in November 2023, we transformed our original IMAX screen, opened in 2012, into a Dolby Atmos PLF (Premium Large Format) screen. This upgrade brings our audience an even more immersive and high-quality sound and visual experience.

In a few weeks, we will be expanding our kitchen to elevate the dining experience further. Patrons will soon be able to order food directly from a QR code on their recliner seat. Once their order is ready, we will bring the food directly to their seat, ensuring they don't miss a moment of the movie.
