Blackwater Pastures

Blackwater Pastures is a family-run cattle farm in Brooks County, Georgia, owned and operated by Matthew and Anna Woolley. We raise high-quality beef with a focus on thoughtful animal husbandry, regenerative grazing, healthy soils, diverse forage, and building a more resilient farm for future generations.

We specialize in direct-to-consumer beef, offering both individual cuts and bulk Blackwater Beef Shares in 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 sizes. All of our beef is dry aged for at least two weeks to develop tenderness and flavor. Customers can shop online, purchase from us at select farmers markets throughout Georgia, or stock their freezer through our Beef Share program.

Our goal is to make it easier for families to buy exceptional Georgia-raised beef directly from the people who raise it. By combining quality beef, convenient purchasing options, and responsible land stewardship, we hope to strengthen the connection between our customers, their food, and the Georgia land where it is raised.
