Dr. Christ-Lee Lizaire-Ganthier is a U.S. Navy Veteran, Chaplain, Author, and the visionary Founder and Executive Director of The Pelagie Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Conyers, Georgia. With a heart for service and a mission to transform lives, Dr. Lizaire-Ganthier leads a network of programs that provide holistic support for individuals and families facing adversity.
Rooted in faith and fueled by compassion, The Pelagie Foundation is committed to empowering people through education, workforce development, housing assistance, and healthcare. The organization operates as a comprehensive umbrella serving Georgia and surrounding states, offering coordinated programs that bridge the gap between crisis and stability.
Our Divisions
Under the Pelagie Foundation umbrella, several impactful initiatives work hand-in-hand to meet diverse community needs:
- Pelagie Resource Center – Provides food distribution, emergency shelter, veteran support, and resource navigation.
- Pelagie Care Clinic – Offers integrated primary care, behavioral health, and chaplaincy-based telehealth services.
- Christ-Lee’s Hair Boutique – A nonprofit training salon offering cosmetology and braid technician apprenticeships.

Our Specialties
The Pelagie Foundation specializes in veteran support and suicide prevention, domestic violence transitional housing, telehealth and integrated behavioral health, faith-based chaplaincy, workforce development, and community outreach.
