SGA Dental Partners

SGA Dental Partners (“SGA”), a Thurston Group portfolio company, is a premier DSO based outside of Savannah, GA serving General and Specialty Practitioners throughout the Southeastern US.  SGA Dental Partners was originally formed by bringing together two thriving dental groups on December 31, 2021. Since then, SGA has partnered with 41 practices comprised of 72 total locations and expanded its footprint into eight total states.  In addition, partnerships under SGA management for greater than a year experienced an organic growth rate of 13% in 2022.  SGA attributes its success to its “dentist-first” model, which focuses on the optimization of a dentist’s time while preserving a dentist’s autonomy in their office.  As a company founded by dentists, SGA realizes the unique challenges presented to professionals in the industry and is therefore able to create custom solutions for each partner dentist to achieve personal and professional goals while ensuring greater patient outcomes.  SGA leverages its unique position in the industry to help dentists maximize their efficiencies while removing obstacles that contribute to burnout, giving dentists more time in the chair, more time with their families, and less time burdened with administrative tasks.
