Founded by Jonathan Weston, author of *Camping is for Everyone*, Wanderland was born from his personal journey of healing and rejuvenation through the outdoors. Jonathan built Wanderland to create a space where families and individuals can connect with each other and with nature, forging lasting bonds and unforgettable memories. His mission is simple yet profound: to inspire a love of the outdoors in everyone and to make camping accessible to all.

Wanderland is more than just a campground; it is a thriving hub for community and conservation. Our non-profit arm, The Wanderland Society, focuses on protecting the natural environment, educating the public on sustainable living, and creating enjoyable outdoor experiences for underserved communities. Through the Wanderland Society, we host a range of programs and workshops that aim to engage, educate, and inspire future generations of conservationists, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts. From rainwater catchment workshops to birdwatching events in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources, Wanderland is at the forefront of promoting environmental awareness and action.

A key feature of Wanderland is its impressive outdoor amphitheater, which serves as a gathering space for events, concerts, storytelling nights, and workshops, all designed to bring people together in a natural, rustic setting. This amphitheater is a place where the community comes alive, under the stars and amongst the trees, sharing experiences that deepen their connection to both nature and each other.

Wanderland is also home to a modern 1,500-square-foot bathhouse, thoughtfully designed to offer campers all the comforts they need without taking away from the wilderness experience. This clean, contemporary space provides hot showers and restrooms, ensuring that every guest can enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing convenience and cleanliness.

In addition to these amenities, Wanderland is conveniently located just a short distance from Cloudland Canyon State Park, one of Georgia's most breathtaking natural attractions. Featuring calisthenic workout stations designed by world-renowned bodybuilder Roc Shabazz, and the Roc Fitness training team consisting of Gina Alexander and Giana Shabazz. The trail allows guests to enjoy a full-body workout while immersed in the serene surroundings of the forest.
