The Mission of Marilyn’s Gluten Free is to take you back to your carefree childhood, when afterschool snacks were simply delicious, and we believed that everything was good. We accomplish this with food that is safe for those with dietary needs, and tasty for everyone! 

The Marilyn’s Gluten Free Story:

 Dietary restrictions are a fact of life, but Marilyn always felt that one could enjoy foods that were delicious regardless of gluten intolerance or food sensitivity.

 Marilyn’s career began in the kitchen with her mother, grandmother, and aunt, whose recipes were the favorites among everyone in her large extended family. A series of health issues that stemmed from gluten sensitivity brought about significant changes in Marilyn’s diet, but didn’t change her love of delicious baked goods. If anything, it made her more aware of the need for delicious treats and desserts that would enable people to enjoy food while following the restrictions of their food sensitivity. 

In 2008, Marilyn’s focus turned to creating a full line of gluten free baked goods that are safe for people with food sensitivities, food allergies, and dairy intolerances; and delicious to be enjoyed by all! 

More than 3 million Americans have been diagnosed with celiac disease, and more than 18 million exhibit symptoms of non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Consuming gluten puts these people at risk of more serious conditions, including arthritis, lactose intolerance, liver disease, and more. 

Marilyn has first-hand experience as a person with gluten-related health issues, as well as one who loves the taste and texture of a gourmet graham cracker or crunchy cheese straw. She has made it her life’s mission to create recipes that can be enjoyed by everyone – gluten free or not! 

Her official taste-testers are children, whose unbiased feedback (“may I please have another?”) means her creations are not just safe, but earn the “you’d never know it’s gluten free” stamp of approval. 

Marilyn’s motto has always been “Good Food for Good Reasons.” Marilyn’s line of gluten free Gourmet  Grahams, Cheese Straws, Artisan Crackers, Tea Biscuits, and more, are delicious reminders that you don’t need a reason to treat yourself to good food!
