Alee Shriners

In 2023: Alee Shriners raised over $400,000 for Shriners Children’s Hospitals. In 2022: Shriners International celebrated 150 years, and Shriners Hospitals for Children: Shriners Children’s celebrated 100 years. In 2021: Alee Shriners celebrated 125 years.

Fun Fact: The ribbon-cutting for the first Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, was in 1922 and was conducted by Imperial Sir Ernest Allen Cutts. Mr. Cutts is from Savannah, Ga, and was the Potentate for Alee Shriners from 1898-1912. 

Alee Shriners Information: Founded in 1896, Alee Shriners is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. Alee Shriners has members in 32 counties. Shriners International established Shriners Children’s as its official philanthropy in 1922 and continues to govern it today, striving to make the world happier and better. Shriner’s Children’s treat children up to age 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burn injuries, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care.
