Mary Lengel - Encompass Mental Health Counseling

I’m an Atlanta based mental health therapist specializing in the treatment of bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders and depression. Many of my clients also turn to therapy for help with anxiety, past traumas, and relationship issues.  As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I create a therapeutic space where you can feel understood, supported and empowered to make lasting change.  I also provide consultations to families and in-home therapeutic coaching for individuals needing additional support.

I’m attentive and have a conversational style in session to help us connect.  I also provide feedback in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner, with a bit of challenging as needed and humor thrown in along the way. Through therapy, I can help you learn effective ways to manage difficult feelings, decrease depression and anxiety, and address behaviors that impact your relationships and life.  Therapy can also be a place where I can guide you to develop a better understanding of yourself and insight into the connections among past experiences, current issues and behavioral patterns.  This type of insight can help you have lasting change.
