TNU Fitness

We are Calhouns only locally owned  24/7 fitness center.  We are a state of the art Smart facility that is fully automated! We are widely known for our environment which is sort of an old-school feel with the murals and paintings on the wall, but also a modern day brand new feel due to technology and all brand new equipment being continuously cycled in as part of our business strategy.  We also developed a refrigerator/cooler into a functioning vending machine that charges your card on file and is accessible via member key fob after the purchase has been made in our app: TNUFITNESS   We offer a wide variety of workout equipment that stretches across several different styles of fitness! As you walk through the front door you will be met by rows of treadmills, stare mills and ellipticals all from Life fitness!  As you proceed forward we have our strength  training equipment that is all pin loaded and designed with ergonomics and motion in mind. These machines are in pods and we have at least two of each machine to each body part and working on the third as we speak. As you go a little further back you will enter the free weight section which is every lifters dream and you are met by a ploretha of dumbbells from 2 1/2 pounds to 130 pounds. We also carry four set of the most common used dumbbells and two set of every other. As you make your way past the free weight section into the hallway going towards the back of the building you see our tanning areas to your right and to your left is another widely known area for the environment which is known as the pit.   The Pit is a free area that members are able to go into and utilize all different types of weights, kettle bells, box jumps, medicine balls, jump ropes, pull up stations, rigs, ropes And turf with sleds. All of the plates are rubber coated and our design to bounce when dropped.  We also have another turf area which is outside that has several large tires and outside sleds as well and have plans for future growth to the facility as well as outside fitness activities.
