About
I was born and raised in the state of Georgia and currently reside in Columbus, GA. My husband and I opened Uptown Float in 2017 wanting to offer natural wellness services for our community and the neighboring military communities. Our float therapy services offer relief for stress, anxiety, PTSD, inflammation, back pain, joint pain and much more.
Uptown Float is a float therapy spa in Columbus, GA that offers floatation therapy services. At Uptown Float, we have 3 custom float chambers that are 8x4 ft wide and 8 ft tall. You are in control of your float room at all times. You can leave the door open if you like and you have control of the lights and stars. Each float chamber is in it's own private room with a shower and dressing area.
Each float chamber is filled with 10 inches of water, 1000lbs of Epsom salt and the water is heated to the average skin surface temperature. While floating in the darkness and silence, you will begin to no longer feel the water since it is the same temperature as the skin giving the sensation of floating in space.
Being in a distraction free anti-gravity environment allows the body and mind to reach a level of relaxation that many have never experienced before. It is the ultimate escape from our busy lifestyles and total relaxation for the body and mind.
