Starr Park

The City of Forest Park is the largest city within Clayton County, with an outstanding population of 18,468. The City is very diverse in culture and experience. Forest park is Located 11 miles south of Atlanta and only 10 minutes away from the largest airport in USA. The City is home to Fort Gillum and also home to the 2019-2020 Girls State High School Basketball Champions. The governing body is very involved in helping the community grow by increasing more dine-in restaurants and expanding on affordable housing. Each elected official contributes an collective effort towards enhancing the city and it’s residents.

Starr Park is located in the Heart of Forest Park at 5031 Park Ave. It's home to some of the best family friendly activities south of Atlanta, like our  MLKing, Jr. Parade & Celebration, Fun Fridays (Concert Series), Ultimate Tailgate Experience, "Pink Panther" Breast Cancer Walk, Hispanic Heritage Festival and our Forest Park Day. This is just a sample of some of the amazing things that goes on within the great City of Forest Park.
