Steeda

I am Scott Boda, Director of Manufacturing & Engineering at Steeda, where I have been fortunate to spend more than 25 years surrounded by great people and an incredible automotive brand.

Steeda is a family-owned, Georgia-based company with almost 40 years of experience designing, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and selling high-performance automotive products. While our products are enjoyed by enthusiasts around the world, we are proud to call Georgia home and to continue manufacturing products here in Valdosta.

What I am most proud of in my role at Steeda isn't taking credit for the company's success or growth. That has been the result of many talented people working together over many years. What I can take pride in is the team I have helped build and the culture we have created within our organization.

I believe people do their best work when they enjoy coming to work, feel respected, know that their contributions matter, and have an opportunity to grow. We have built a team of talented machinists, welders, fabricators, engineers, assemblers, marketing professionals, and social media specialists who all bring different skills and perspectives to the company. Many of our employees have been with us for years, and that longevity is something I consider one of our greatest accomplishments.

Our marketing and social media teams play an important role in telling the Steeda story and connecting our products and our people with automotive enthusiasts around the world. They help showcase the work being done inside our facility, our performance vehicles, our products, and most importantly, the passion behind them. Together with our engineering and manufacturing teams, they have helped create a community around the Steeda brand that extends far beyond our walls.

We also place a strong emphasis on developing the next generation of manufacturing talent through relationships with local schools, technical programs, and workforce-development initiatives. I believe manufacturing has an incredible future, and I enjoy giving young people an opportunity to see that a career in manufacturing can be rewarding, challenging, and something they can be proud of.

At the end of the day, Steeda is about much more than performance parts and race cars. It is about people, craftsmanship, innovation, creativity, and pride in what we build. I am fortunate to play a part in leading a team that genuinely enjoys working together, supports one another, and takes pride in representing both Steeda and Georgia manufacturing.
