Kelly's Konfections

My name is Kelly, I am a wife, mother of 4, self taught baker, a lover of coffee and sweet treats.

I absolutely love baking and I love sharing what I make even more!

I think this is because some of the fondest memories I have if my mother is of how happy she was in the kitchen. She always a had cooking show on the TV on Saturday's and was constantly clipping recipes or grabbing one of those small recipe book at the grocery store checkouts! She enjoyed cooking but she LOVED baking so much more. She always let me mix and measure and of course taste test along the way. I can still smell the delicious chocolate chip cookies cooling on the cookie sheet just waiting to be handed one. 

My mother was a hard working single mom who did always have much but had a huge generous heart. Many years at Christmas she gave her home Baked cookies for gifts! I remember how everyone embraced receiving them and gushed over each bite! 

I quickly grew to love being in the kitchen myself.  I loved making cookies and cakes. I loved baking something for and with my friends when they came over. Once I had children of my own I started planning and baking their birthday cakes, baking cookies for their teacher and well finding any excuse to bake is pretty much how I live my life (LOL)!!

Over the years I've baked for friends, family and co-workers at their request. So many times I'd hear you should open your own bakery. I thought what a dream that would be! Well there's no time like the present, I still love baking and even more than that sharing it with others.

Kelly's Konfections is a certified and licensed in Home baking Co. Where I get to do what I love and share it with those around me! Since this is only the beginning I have no idea where this will go but God does! His love and sovereignty is what I lean on and the encouragement of family and friends is a great gift to me!
