THE DRAGONFLY AVIATION STORY

Dragonfly Aviation was founded in 2013 and we opened our doors in June of 2014 for what was originally meant to be a hobby - one CFI and one airplane on our founder Jon's days off from the airline.  We never knew what a demand there was for quality flight instruction and it quickly snowballed!  By March of 2015 we employed another Instructor and purchased another airplane and were now able to open seven days a week.  By summer's end 2015, we had even more Flight Instructors and were looking for another airplane.  Jon's wife Heidi quit her nine to five and started running Dragonfly Aviation full time.  Thanks to word of mouth from our fantastic customers, we have continued to grow, and five years later now have a fleet of ten training aircraft and employ eleven Instructors, in addition to our founder Jon.  

We are now able to offer training from zero time to multi engine Instructor, and have clients from all walks of life - from aspiring professional pilots to successful business owners who are searching for a quicker way to get from Point A to B to grown their business.  Our aircraft are available for both training and rental once you earn your pilot certificate.

Understanding that each student presents a unique situation and a different learning style, our instructors are often collaborating on a challenging situation to get feedback on what they can do to keep students engaged and moving forward in their training.
