Wimberly's Roots

Wimberly’s Roots is a community food and education program at the Wimberly Center in Winder, Georgia, serving Barrow County and surrounding communities. 

We connect children, families and neighbors with fresh food, gardening, cooking, nutrition and diabetes education. Programs include Right Bite Diabetes Cooking School, Food For Health, community gardens, youth cooking and food education, and a shared-use community kitchen supporting local food businesses.

We’re growing healthier people, stronger families and a stronger community, one seed, one meal and one neighbor at a time.
