Ivybrook Academy Woodstock is a boutique, half-day preschool dedicated to unlocking each child’s unique potential through a research-backed, individualized learning experience. Our curriculum is a sophisticated hybrid that draws from the best of Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies alongside Multiple Intelligence research. By fostering a "school home" environment, we provide an innovative and nurturing space where children ages 18 months to 6 years can explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Expert Leadership & The McGill Partnership

The academy is led by Erin McGill, an experienced educator who brings both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Education to her role as Principal and Owner. Erin’s background ensures that Ivybrook’s high pedagogical standards are consistently met, providing families with a preschool experience that is as academically rigorous as it is nurturing.

The school is a family-owned institution managed through a strategic partnership between Erin and her husband, David McGill. This "two-strengths" leadership model combines David’s operational expertise with Erin’s deep educational knowledge. As parents themselves, Erin and David understand firsthand the importance of finding a preschool that honors a child’s individuality. Their shared vision was to bring this unique, blended approach to the Woodstock and Roswell communities, creating a place where families feel a genuine sense of partnership.

Since its opening, Ivybrook Academy Woodstock has been consistently recognized for its excellence in early childhood education. Building on our success as a 2025 finalist, we are incredibly proud to share that Ivybrook Academy has been named the "Best Preschool" for 2026 in the annual Best of Cherokee County awards.
